MSIT is a novel Program started in 2001 in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, U.S.A. It is with Story Centered Curriculum and a self paced industry needed Program. MSIT program has been designed by a consortium of universities along with Carnegie Mellon University of Pittsburgh US. This program is distinguished among the conventional courses with a self-paced learning and learning by doing with Story Centered Curriculum.

Its objective is to prepare very high quality professionals for IT and IT-enabled services for a global market. Towards this end, the curriculum grooms them in IT and specialized domains along with soft skills. The MSIT graduates will have a thorough knowledge of IT concepts and the capacity to swiftly translate this knowledge into services in specialized domains like Bio-Informatics, Software Engineering, E-business technologies etc.

The program combines the strengths of sophisticated educational technologies and personalized mentoring like a “GURUKUL”. A significant percentage of the grade and time is devoted to projects, including mini and long field projects that would involve working on real-life requirements.
