He is Professor in CSE and Special Officer for University Automation at School of Information Technology, JNTU Hyderabad.He has more than 25 Years of experience in teaching, software design & development and Administration. He worked in Center for Good Governance (AP Government owned British Funded Unit) as senior manager eProjects, during 2003-2006, from where he supervised the IT activities of various Government Departments. He was Officer on Special Duty (IT)  for APTransCo for over an year. He was I.T. Expert in KSHIP, a World Bank project along with Engineering Staff College of India and IIM, Bangalore

His areas of interest are Electrical Distribution Automation, Energy Conservation and Audit, Protocols and low level and real-time programming in Windows and Linux, Image Processing, Open Source Software promotion and development etc.
